After another teary goodbye from Carolyn’s in Bowral we headed to the coast. We went through Robertson and stopped for coffee next to …. Wait for it! The Big Potato! (Claire Kelleher have you been here!!) next we went via The Macquarie Pass (!!!!) to Albion Park Rail to visit Uncle Ian and Aunty Piettie Bool. We were lucky to see the cousins too- John, Leonie and Rodney! And also Ian the son of Robert another cousin. We were both so happy to catch up with all of them and to see they were happy and well.
After catching up with some awesome Bool’s we made our way to Kiama 15 kms away. 😊😊 we checked out the famous Blowhole and then headed to our first night of camping at Easts Beach Big 4.
Selected a campsite (not too far from facilities) and set up. Easy Peasy! ( Sorry! Been teaching too long!) Wasn’t too long before we were sitting and having wine and cheese. ( Steve had the “Tents up beer” beer before that.😉)

Fantastic first day camping. We can hear the waves crashing, having wine and cheese and relaxing enjoying each other’s company. ( I haven’t cried since Uncle Ian and Auntie Piettie’s when I saw them and little Molly- a maltese X Shitzu!)
