Today Bel and I decided to explore the Jervis Bay area. We used to camp here regularly with friends at Greenpatch, but really hadn’t looked around a lot. We started the day at Hyams Beach with a coffee and a short walk along the beach – a beautiful spot and a great view of the whole of Jervis Bay.
We then drove around the Booderee National park, visiting the botanical garden, Murrays beach, and then finally beautiful Greenpatch where decided to go for our second ever paddle in the new kayak. The weather was great and we were protected from any wind so it was perfect conditions.

Bel is still working on her technique so I just focussed on coaching and taking photos. Once she gets more practice I’m hoping to do a bit of fishing.
So after a hard workout it was lunchtime and we headed off to the Husky Pub. It has had a massive reno since we were last there and looks great. We all used to talk about buying it and doing it up – missed opportunity – it was packed!!
More footy tonight, then early to bed and ready to move further down the coast.
Wow. Looks like a perfect day!!!
