Steve and I arrived back on the Sunshine Coast to sun and our camper trailer still standing and dry. 😊
The next morning we made our way to Tin Can Bay a small village north. The water is very tidal. There were boats just sitting on the sand waiting for the tide to come in.

After setting up on a very tight site we went and explored the town on our bikes. As I said it’s a small town. We still managed 11km as it had a great bike track along the water.
The following morning we got up very early to go and feed the dolphins. It was a wonderful, amazing experience!! I loved it!! Too late to be a marine scientists though.

We were lucky enough for 4 dolphins to come for feeding- Mistique and Patch both mature males and Ella 37 and her calf Squirt who was 4. Squirt was quite cheeky like 4 year old can be.

After the feeding we left for Hervey Bay. We stayed two nights with a lovely view of the water.

The beach was beautiful and again tidal.
That night a Mr Whippy van came to the park. It was a restored 1965 van. It was was cool and so where the ice creams. 😜
The next day after a walk along the beach we got ourselves organised for our Fraser Island adventure – lots of supplies for the 5 nights planned. We were all done by mid afternoon so we went to the pub as it was Steve’s turn in the punters club. While we were there a lady making things out of balloons gave me a flower for Mothers Day. 😊
