After 2 days in Kiama we moved further south. Not far! To Bream Beach which was only 72km away.
We went via beautiful Berry. Stopped off for supplies in Nowra. ( I needed a small hairdryer! 😉) then to Bream Beach.
Bream Beach is a special place for me. I used to come here with my family for 2 weeks in the Chrissy holidays. There would be 4 or 5 other families and we’d water ski, swim, explore the bush and go prawning. Great memories. Now I’m making new ones!
We’re lucky to be staying in Steve’s cousin Deborah’s van. Nice and cosy and a real bed tonight. AND ……. TV to watch the footy.
We went for our first kayak which was awesome. Correct technique? We’re working on it.
A very beautiful spot. We’ve been visited by kangaroos with their joeys, possums and also some cheeky magpies grabbing the crumbs we dropped.
Homemade hamburgers for dinner with wine and footy. Steve’s in heaven!!
Going to paddle at Greenpatch tomorrow. Gotta work on that technique.
