Packing day

We are at t-1 before departure and it’s all about the packing. Bel knows this is a good time to stay clear so she has planned to spend most of the day buying the last minute items. We have organised the car so that we can access items from each door, and not have to unpack the whole car to reach something.

Rear passenger door is fridge and basic condiments, drivers side is food and crockery etc, rear is the gear, pod is for the stuff we use occasionally.

Started the day with a ride, and then into the packing. The pre planning paid off and everything seems to have fit in its place. No fights, and it’s beer time.

  1. “Rear passenger door is fridge” .. “drivers side is food” .. that certainly appears to be strategic pre-planning…enjoy your walkabout guys!

p.s. Walkabout refers to a rite of passage during which over-worked Australians undergo a journey during their 50’s and live in the wilderness for an extended period, often without clothes or deodorant.
