It was a very warm morning and it was hot in the tent so we were up early. After a later than usual night we were slow to get going!
After brekky we walked up to the shops for coffee, supplies and $1 coins for the washing machine and dryer.
Did a quick wash and decided a paddle was a must to wake us up.

We paddled across to the beach with the idea of Steve enjoying a fish and me reading and sun baking. However, we didn’t last too long as it was mostly overcast and windy. No fish or sun baking today.

We then paddled back against the outgoing tide and that wind!! 2kms all up. We felt much more awake now.
Getting the kayak in and out for me can sometimes be a challenge. Carrying it back to our tent (which isn’t far!) I needed to swap hands. I was at the back of the kayak and so was the fishing rod. Yep! My hat got hooked to the rod!! So Steve ended up catching something after all. 😂😂 Sometimes I think people watching us would be having a real cack!!
Needed a shower to warm up.
Lunch, relaxing and then to check out the pub. 5 days here and we hadn’t been to the one and only pub! It was well over due!
On the way we went to say hello to Levi the big seal at the wharf. He was happy to have his photo taken with the 10 or more pelicans waiting for the fishermen to come in with their dinner.
After the pub we went back to camp for dinner( mushroom and bacon bosciolla),warm fire, a few wines and an early night.
